Team Edgeraid
Team Edgeraid was founded in 2026 and is widely known for having a cybernetic dog on their team (as opposed to Team Satomi, who has a cybernetic cat). In 2039, a heavy machinery company officially active in the IGPX, known for its many connections and strong fan support, became Team Edgeraid's main sponsor. The company's name is O.F.P., and due to their involvement with Edgeraid, the performance of their mechs has increased greatly. In 2041, they entered the IG-1 for the first time. The design of their mechs became a model for many other teams to base their own designs on.
The team's leaders are both Bjorn and the team's animal navigator, Sola. Many people agree that their teamwork has been outstanding, even after they arrived at the IG-1. The combined techniques they unleash during races are consistently praised. Their mechs, drenched in an orange so dark it is almost red, contain drill-like and cutter-like weapons, along with their team's Inner Edge. The mechs' most distinctive feature is the three shiny silver lines that adorn various parts of each mech. Not only are they used as cutter-like weapons in close-quarter combat, but they also contain Edgeraid's proprietary wire weapons. This gives Team Edgeraid the advantage of being able to maximize the use of each part of their mechs in combat. There is no shortage of fans waiting for Edgeraid's new upgrades each year, which are considered "cutting edge" in the IGPX.

Bjorn Johassen (Forward)
Voiced by Crispin Freeman (ENG) and Nobuo Tobita (JPN)
Bjorn Johassen is the forward and leader of Team Edgeraid. Bjorn is proud of his team and how far they have come. He also doesn't mind having a dog as a mascot. Bjorn isn't necessarily overconfident, but he tends to think he knows what he's doing. His teamwork skills have carried the team through many challenges in the IG-1.

Bella Demarco (Midfield)

Bella Demarco is the midfielder of Team Edgeraid. Bella
comes up with excellent formations, and executes them with her team. Playing midfield keeps her focused on what needs to be done to the other team in each race in order to win. However, this does not necessarily mean that she always figures out how to execute a plan to actually do what needs to be done to win.

Frank Bullitt (Defense)

Frank Bullitt is the defender of Team Edgeraid. Little is known about Frank Bullit, except that he likes to keep his opponents guessing. He's not always on his guard, which can make him a weak defender at times. Still, his cooperation with his team has allowed them to advance to IG-1.

Sola (Cybernetic Dog)

Sola (Age 3) races with Team Edgeraid, similar to Luca of Team Satomi. Sola used to be the only cybernetic animal racing in the IG-1 league. With Team Satomi's IG-1 debut, that has changed. Sola has a lot of bark, but still knows when to admit defeat. Sola also has a sentimental side, but is still a dog at heart.
